Great location, great stay, hotel lacks some basic amenities like a space heater.

Staff was really helpful and friendly, it was the highlight of our stay. Room was really simple but clean. Also, the hotel is within walking distance to the historic district, and this is a major advantage.

The room did not have a heater and it was really cold at night. In addition, we were showering in the morning and we ran out of hot water. I really didn't like their "No cancellation policy" because the hotel lacks some basic things and once you arrive and notice these things then you cannot do anything about it and are "forced to stay"

The food was delicious, rooms were large and very clean. I had a gathering of 35 people and they arranged everything, delicious green pozole and lots of extras. We were able to bring in our alcohol with helped us host such a large family event. The staff worked tirelessly to make our party a great success. Thank you!!!

The bed was too firm but I have a bad back,, I imagine an egg crate pad will fix the firmness.

Great value for the money!

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the red room (apple room?). It was VERY clean with unique amenities. The breakfast was delicious. It's a hidden gem. They even gave us a free delicious baked good upon check out.

It’s very close to Cathedral, only 2 min away! I was here during Christmas time so I could go back to see Christmas trees many times during day and night. Free coffee was awesome option. Staff are very kind and in my opinion, hospitality was awesome . I will definitely come back and stay

Friendly staff, good centric location, rustic looks

Room was excessively hot without an AC, we just had 2 fans. We didn't fully enjoy our stay for that reason. Location was centric, price on the high side considering lack of AC, overall good stay.

Worst room I ever had - never coming back

- excellent location 2 minutes walking from the cathedral and city center. - I was incredibly happy when LEAVING this place.

- Completely dark room without windows or ventilation, even the lights are not bright enough. - Due to the missing fresh air it smelled really bad - a mixture of sweat and a musty cellar. - There is no separated bathroom, the toilet is next to the bed, without ventilation. - We found trash on the table next to the bed and in the bathroom. When informing the stuff they blamed the "new administration". - The sheets were broken and had holes from cigarettes. - The towels were dirty! They all had red spots. - They didn't take away the used piece of body soap from the guests before. We found the wrapping under the towels which made me ask myself if they even changed the towels - shouldn't they have seen the trash? - The TV didn't work. - Nobody informed us about breakfast times. This is my experience about the room "Pancho Villa" and I added some pictures to emphasize it. Due to the positive reviews and pictures I ask myself if we just received the worst room but in any case I wouldn't recommend it and will never come back to this hotel.

No best option in Dowtown

Excellent location. Walking distance to shopping stores, catedral.

My room doesn't have a window..it was warm. They don't have free cancellation policy..I booked for 4 nights but I feel uncomfortable and decided to move a better hotel and I paid the cancellation fee.

It’s a very simple place, well located, and has nice staff;

It’s a very simple place, well located, and has nice staff; rooms are large.

The facilities are quite interesting- the whole bathroom (including the toilet) are part of the bedroom - there is NO door nor wall nor anything to separate them which means you have a clear view of the toilet when you’re laying in bed. Maybe not that comfortable for everyone. In addition, they have one toilet outside with no roof and quite open as well and people walking by. The door is extremely difficult to lock, meaning we had to ask staff to lock it. No natural light through the colored window into the court. Beds were quite hard. Breakfast was ok, but in total for the price, I think you can find more comfortable options.

Large room, very nicely decorated. Interesting, historical building. The owner allowed us to park our motorcycles inside the courtyard, which was very nice. Very friendly owner and family.

Great staff, but disappointing

Great staff, the guys were super helpful, spoke English and really made us feel at home. The guy helping us with check-in was particularly nice and gave good tips, but it couldn't make up for the negative parts.. :(

It did not meet our expectations at all. The property didn't feel like a proper hotel/b&b. It needs a more professional touch. No value for money. For 40 euros/night we got a room without a window or fresh air that felt like a bunker. It was noisy, as you could hear all conversations happening in the kitchen area and the worst thing was; there was a toilet cubicle in our room, next to our bed! Not comfortable at all. Also was weirdly humid in the room, but freezing cold (we were there in Feb.).
